Originally from New Jersey and New Hampshire, Colleen and Matt now call Boston home. The couple lives right in the heart of the North End just next door to the historic Old North Church. When it came time to decide upon a location for their ceremony, there was no question Boston’s oldest church was the perfect place.
Colleen and Matt used the city as the inspiration for their wedding day. The first look took place at Old City Hall and with time before the ceremony, we were able to spend time at the scenic Christopher Columbus Waterfront Park on the outskirts of the North End. Wedding guests were treated to Old Town Trolley tours on the way to and from the ceremony.
The reception took place at the most quintessential classic Boston hotel – the historic and beautiful Omni Parker House. In keeping with the theme, tables were named after local landmarks. The signature drinks were named the Boston Tea Party and the Copley Cooler and local brews of Harpoon, Sam Adams and Cisco Whale’s Tale were offered. Pop-Rock band The Grift came in from Vermont to play for the reception kept everyone on the dance floor for the rest of the evening.
A big thank you to the team at the Omni Parker House and Congratulations to Colleen and Matt! We had such a fantastic time taking in the sights of Boston with you on your wedding day!
