While we didn’t actually run in the Boston Marathon this year, Jill Person Photography was hard at work photographing two great events for the busy Boston Marathon weekend!
We started on Sunday night, when The Catered Affair invited us to be a part of the Marathon’s annual pre-race Pasta Party in Boston’s City Hall Plaza. This annual gathering of Boston officials and runners from around the world allows guests to socialize, celebrate, and fuel up before the big race Monday morning! A delicious buffet provided by The Catered Affair and a presentation by Boston’s own Mayor Menino made this Marathon tradition an evening to remember for all the guests and runners.
Marathon Monday was just as exciting with the annual Boston Marathon Celebration, held in the heart of the city at the Mandarin Oriental Boston. The event took place in the Oriental Ballroom on the second floor, providing a perfect view of the race below and the runners at the 26 mile mark! All decor and rentals provided by Be Our Guest.
