It’s that time of year again — the 18th annual Brides of Distinction Bridal Brunch and Fashion Show was held at the Omni Parker House last weekend! This annual event sponsored by Boston Wedding Magazine brings together event professionals, experts, and lots of brides-to-be to give them all the tools they need to plan their wedding day.
This year the 130+ guests began the morning with a mimosa cocktail hour and a meet-and-greet with the wonderful wedding professionals in attendance. Then it was time for brunch, which featured a panel hosted by both Jenny Johnson and Billy Costa. The hosts had a chat with Boston Weddings Executive Editor Francesca Mills, followed by their annual cake parade. Guests got to see an array of different cake styles, designs, and flavors to inspire them for their own wedding planning including a champagne cake inspired by Jenny Johnson’s Champy by Montilio’s. Last but not least was their annual fashion show of wedding gowns and bridemaids dresses — the fashion show featured models showing off dresses from both L’elite Bridal and Musette Bridal.
This bridal brunch is always so much fun, it gives couples and event professionals the chance to mix and mingle and leaves the brides feeling exciting and inspired for their own big wedding days.
