A simple, elegant, and memorable celebration with their family and friends — that is what Meredith and Sean wanted for their Boston summer wedding. From the heart of downtown Boston to the college where they first met, and ending up at the beautiful Wellesley Country Club on a sunny summer afternoon, this couple could not have asked for a more picture perfect wedding day.
Our first location for the day was the Fairmont Copley Boston, where Meredith and Sean got ready for the day’s celebration. They chose not to see each other before the wedding ceremony, but we took advantage of the Fairmont’s elegant architecture for some individual shots of the two with their respective parties before heading to St Ignatius Church on the Boston College campus. This church held a special meaning for the bride and groom, they actually met at Boston College while they were both attending as students. We stayed on campus following the ceremony for formal photos of the newlyweds, in front of the church and on the rest of the BC grounds.
We all arrived at the Wellesley Country Club for the evening reception — there was still plenty of daylight left on this sunny summer wedding day, and we took Meredith and Sean around the property for a few more photos. The night was full of toasts, dancing, and laughter as this bride and groom celebrated their new union surrounded by their closest family and friends, exactly as they had imagined it.
