The summer days are waning, but they aren’t gone yet! The bride for this gorgeous summer Boston wedding at the Boston Harbor Hotel described the inspiration as “enchanted forest”. An abundance of greenery, soft white flowers, and gold details made this a lush and luxurious celebration to remember.
Becca and Dan’s Boston wedding is what we affectionately like to call a “Jewish(ish)” wedding. Much of the wedding ceremony took from Becca’s Jewish roots — with a traditional Ketubah signing and vows under a chuppah. The Rabbi made everyone in the room feel included by explaining all of the prayers, blessings, and traditions as Becca and Dan became husband and wife. At the reception, guests participated in a Motzi (blessing of the bread and wine), traditional Hora, and a Krenzel dance for the parents of the bride. This is a celebration of parents who have just seen their last child get married! Dan and his family’s Irish roots were celebrated with a traditional Irish song and dance for all the guests to enjoy on the dance floor.
The Boston Harbor Hotel made for a perfect venue for this celebration. The colors of green, white, and seafoam were a perfect match for the Boston waterfront right outside, and gold detailing throughout the decor added a stunning touch of elegance. We loved being a part of this gorgeous Boston wedding celebration — special thanks to Becca and Dan, to Jodi Raphael and her entire team, and to Michael and everyone at the Boston Harbor Hotel!
