The last wedding of the year took place at the Boston Harbor Hotel and was an elegant and infectiously fun celebration. Taylor and John chose lots of classic white throughout the day’s events, accented by greens, gold, and lots of warm candlelight for a perfect winter vibe.
Once everyone was dressed and ready for the day to begin, the bride and groom met harbor-side for a private first look. Taylor and John decided to share their personal vows here at the first look rather than during the wedding ceremony, which made for a very special moment between bride and groom (and so much fun to capture!). Taylor added a white fur wrap to her wedding dress to stave off the cold and we captured some wonderful shots of the couple out along the water and under the iconic Boston Harbor Hotel archway and around the property.
The sun set as we moved inside to the Wharf Room for the wedding ceremony which was officiated by a close friend of the couple. Gold chairs, towering greenery, and a flood of warm candlelight added the perfect ambiance to this winter wedding ceremony. While guests enjoyed cocktails following the ceremony, the Wharf Room was transformed for the evening reception. Classic white and soft pink flowers were interspersed with wintery green pine, with a sprig of pine adorning each place setting. Soft lighting and candles made the room feel intimate and warm even with the cold winter night outside — and the incredible love and laughter shared by all the guests certainly helped too!
We are so grateful to have ended our 2019 wedding season with such a wonderful couple at one of our favorite venues, the Boston Harbor Hotel. Special thanks to Taylor and John, and to Ted and his entire Boston Harbor Hotel team.
