May 2021 marked the start of my 19th wedding season and to this day, it is still such an honor to be asked by fellow Boston wedding event industry colleagues to capture their wedding day! For Nicolette and Pat, it was no exception. I’ve had the pleasure of working with Nicolette over the years in the hotel world and now as a member of the team at Jodi Raphael Events.
Nicolette and Pat had a perfect spring day when they surprised their parents, siblings, and friends and eloped at Pat’s childhood home. The couple asked their parents to join them under the guise of engagement photos. Although recently engaged, the couple has been together for 14 years so it was quite an exciting and welcomed surprise for all!
Following the ceremony with their parents, everyone headed to Tuscon Kitchen in Burlington to meet up for “an engagement party” with additional family members and friends. Guests were so excited when they saw the newlyweds enter with big smiles (and rings on their hands!).
