Caren and Mike wanted their wedding day to not only be classic and romantic but also a fun and personal for them and their guests. The couple loves to sail so when they were looking for a venue, the Wharf Room at the Boston Harbor Hotel was a perfect choice. The colors for the day were shades of whites with blush pink and a splash of sage and mint green. The bridesmaids wore full length blush dresses that accented Caren’s beautiful Oscar De La Renta gown beautifully.
The first look took place right on the water behind the Wharf Room and we spent some time with the couple and their wedding party before heading inside the hotel for their Kutubah signing. The traditional Jewish wedding ceremony took place in the Wharf Room overlooking Boston Harbor under a custom white orchid filled chuppah. Following the ceremony, guests had the opportunity to view the Harbor from the top of the Rotunda on the 9th floor of the hotel while the ceremony space was transformed for the reception. Cascading white and blush floral arrangements filled the tables from Lotus Floral Events. Following dinner, the music by Soho kept the newlyweds and their guests celebrating on the dance floor all night.
From Caren and Mike: “Our wedding was certainly a day that will bring a smile to each of our faces as we remember it for the rest of our lives. When we look back on it, we are so grateful that it captured the romantic, softly nautical, fun, personal, and classically beautiful vibe we were going for. Our hearts are so full as we think of all of the love we were showered with from our very closest family and friends and we will certainly take that with us as we start our lives together as husband and wife!”
