Believe it or not, summer wedding season in Boston is almost coming to a close! Even with autumn quickly approaching, we still have a few more weeks of beautiful summer weather and bright sunny weddings to look forward to. This Boston summer wedding at the Four Seasons was an elegant and beautiful celebration of a wonderful couple, Caitlin and Dave.
Even though this wedding was on our home turf, it was a destination celebration for many of Caitlin and Dave’s friends and family. With the groom’s side coming from Maine and the bride’s group traveling from Connecticut, these wedding guests got to experience life right in the heart of the city at the Four Seasons Boston. Both bride and groom started the morning getting ready inside the hotel with their wedding party. Caitlin and Dave said their “I do”s at St. Mary’s in Charlestown, then it was back to Boston to get the party started.
We took the newlyweds to the Public Garden for some photos in the summer sun while guests enjoyed cocktails in the Four Seasons Boston’s Governors Room. Then it was into the Aujourd’hui Room for dinner and dancing. The ballroom was beautifully transformed by the team at Sara Kovel Events — the decor brought out the accent colors of blue, white, and gold from the room and made the whole space an elegant and romantic summer celebration. Dark blue linens were paired with towering white and blue summer flowers from Marc Hall Design, with gold chiavaris and charger plates to add a bit of shimmer accented by lighting from Suzanne B. Lowell Lighting Design.
We had such a wonderful time with Caitlin, Dave, and their guests. Thank you to the team at the Four Seasons Boston and to Sara Kovel Events for a beautiful summer wedding celebration!
