If you haven’t been to Boston lately, you’ve got to check out the booming Seaport district. Right on the waterfront and home to shops, restaurants, and gorgeous venues — the Seaport is a must-visit spot! For this Fall wedding, The Exchange was the venue of choice. Out on the very tip of Boston Fish Pier, the Exchange offers waterfront views, indoor and outdoor space, and a great central Seaport location.
Although Katie and Tim both live and work in Philadelphia, they traveled back to Boston for their Seaport wedding. Both Katie and Tim work in amazingly selfless fields (she is a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner, and he is a Fire Lieutenant) so their wedding was full of first responders, nurses, and all around incredible people. The entire day took place on the Seaport, starting at The Exchange for getting ready and first look. A quick trolley ride with the wedding party took us to Fan Pier for some formals both out on the water’s edge and in Fan Pier Park. A hop right across the street took us to Our Lady of Good Voyage for the wedding ceremony, where Katie and Tim said their “I do”s.
It was a beautiful Fall afternoon, so guests enjoyed cocktails on the outdoor patio of The Exchange, on the Boston Harbor. Twinkling lights, peach-pink details, and table names based on Boston’s Green Line transit system awaited guests inside The Exchange. Everyone was thrilled to be there to celebrate with Katie and Tim, and the night closed out with heartfelt speeches, laughter, and lots of dancing!
