It was a gorgeously sunny fall day in Boston (and the last day of the year before the clocks turned back). Blue skies above, blue waters out on the Boston Seaport, and two wonderful people ready to say “I do”.
This Boston Harbor Hotel wedding gave us everything we need on a stunning fall day. We loved the deep, rich colors of forest green and navy blue from the wedding party, paired with simple white bouquets. The waterfront right outside the Boston Harbor hotel made for the perfect backdrop for Catherine and James’ first look, and for portraits with the whole family. The warm fall light was just unbeatable, especially as it poured in through the Boston Harbor Hotel’s classic outdoor archway.
It was a short trip around the corner and over the bridge to Our Lady of Good Voyage for the wedding ceremony. Catherine and James were wed in a full Catholic Mass, as the last bits of the evening sun illuminated the stained glass above the altar. Following the ceremony, it was back to the Boston Harbor Hotel for the celebration to begin! We swapped sunlight for candlelight, as the Wharf Room was lit up by candelabra chandeliers and table-top tea candles. Before ending the night, we had to take the newlyweds back out to the waterfront for just a few more photos. The dark water and sparkling city lights beyond made for the perfect ending to this perfect fall wedding day.
Big thank you’s to Catherine and James, and to Ted Daniels and his entire team at the Boston Harbor Hotel!
